PURPOSE: The purpose of the Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) Safety Committee will be to provide
a healthy, safe, and secure environment for learning, work, and research. The committee
is charged with communicating requirements and best practices to HCI investigators
and staff, assist with identifying and mitigating hazardous situations, and working
with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) to ensure inspections are completed and
assigned corrective actions are taken.
